Paul Elison has been involved in the Portland music community since moving to the area in 2000. He received a Master’s Degree in choral conducting from Portland State in 2003, where he conducted the PSU Madrigal Choir. He has been featured as a soloist in numerous opera productions and choral presentations in Portland over the past decade and currently sings with several area choirs, including Resonance Ensemble and Portland Symphonic Choir, where he is on the artistic staff as bass section leader. By day, he is a K-8 music teacher, private vocal instructor, and composer, having written many choral works and eight musicals for middle-school aged children. Paul is very happy to be making his debut with The Ensemble this year and is proud to sing with this group of exceptional musicians. |
